Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

/newspaper application/ = isopropyl alcohol + nail polish ? yes, this tutorial is definitely a keeper in my beauty book. as if sally hansen’s latest real nail polish strips weren’t keeping my nails busy this summer, i discovered this awesome tutorial to get newspaper prints on your nails with the help of rubbing alcohol! anyway, i’ve been hooked on to essie nail polish lately, so i may take up on a few of the commentators’ suggestions and try this with ‘absolutely shore’ nail polish color.
/la dolce vita/ this photo certainly captures ‘the good life’. this mini dolce & gabbana dress (from spring 2011 collection) is stunning and looks magnificent on anna dello russo’s body.. i’ve always appreciated this dress so much ever since i saw it on diane kruger. her neutral color, sergio rossi shoes almost make it seem as if she is on her tippy toes, lifting off from happiness. tommy ton is a genius!
/louis vuitton/ i know this is old news, but i am really digging this ad campaign. the picture is taken in a tropical rainforest in cambodia and it captures the natural beauty of the country’s environment and of course, jolie’s effortlessly chic look in her (own) clothes. i must say the bag looks slightly ‘out of place’ but the color of this monogrammed vuitton alto bag is in harmony with its theme.
